5 Secrets Most Successful People Share Part 1

5 Secrets Most Successful People Share

Have you ever spent any time studying very successful people? Do they seem to you to have something in common? There seems to be something about them, but for many, it's somewhat elusive, not easy to define. Maybe you think it's all due to lucky breaks….? But have you ever heard the expression, "I find that the harder I work, the luckier I get." Something to think about, and, of course, it’s not just working hard, it’s also about working smart.

The most successful people share certain secrets. Call them ideas or call them traits, but, people with power, success and even money seem to have 5 things in common.

For the next 5 days I want to share these certain secrets that most successful people have. Also, you can find more information on Developing a Plan of Action from my FREE E Book Time Matters.

So lets get started on Day 1 as we look at certain things most successful people have in common:

  1. The power of persistence
We all know and admire people who have failed and gone on to great success. Before he invented the electric light bulb, Thomas Edison failed more than 1000 times. He never saw it as a failure; he saw it as one more step towards succeeding. Henry Ford is another example. He came from a poor background with no education, but he looked at the horse and buggy, and saw the amazing cars we drive today. Abraham Lincoln failed in business and in running for government several times, but we all know how he ended up.

Persistence will carry you when intelligence and luck do not. Many of us give up too soon. It was Winston Churchill, a hero in horrible times, who said a very popular and powerful phrase," Never, never, never, never give up."

In my own life, I have had difficult times that I wanted to just throw in the towel. But, when I continued and was persistent, the outcome and reward for my persistence paid off.

Don’t throw in the towel just yet. Be persistent and consistent and you will come out on top.

I love what the Apostle Paul said to the church in Galatia in

Galatians 6:9

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Don’t Give Up! Be Persistent.

Look forward to sharing with you tomorrow, as we continue to look at certain things most successful people have in common. Also, don’t forget you can find more information on on Developing a Plan of Action from my FREE E Book Time Matters.

 I wish you the best!
